Making new friends after 30 and while navigating the demands of working life can be surprisingly tough.

 

The easy social connections of university days are a thing of the past, and free time feels like a rare commodity between professional and personal responsibilities. That’s exactly why I created Arts&Chats.

I brought Arts&Chats from Scotland to Catania with the same purpose in mind. I know how valuable it is to have a space where people can meet new faces, build a sense of community, and escape the daily routine. Art is an amazing way to connect, offering a fresh and often surprising way to engage with others. These workshops are designed to make creativity accessible and enjoyable for everyone, no matter their experience level.

These workshops are all about offering a relaxed, welcoming space where people can connect, chat, and form meaningful friendships, all while exploring their creative side.

 

Every session is unique, designed to spark creativity in fun, unconventional ways. You might draw with your eyes closed, try life drawing with a playful twist, collaborate on a group project, or experiment individually using both hands at once. There’s no pressure to create something “perfect”—it’s all about relaxing, having fun, and letting your imagination run wild.

A little about me: I’m originally from Catania but spent 14 years abroad (13 in Scotland and one in Guatemala). In 2023, I decided it was time to return home, bringing with me everything I’ve learned along the way. I’m a self-proclaimed “messy” artist who loves experimenting with new ideas, and I’m passionate about creating experiences that bring people together.

 

Arts&Chats is just the beginning—I’ve got plenty of other projects in the works, and I can’t wait to share them with you soon!
